The effects of GSTT on isolated rat hearts are reported in three parts. 1. Effects of GSTT on hemodynamics in isolated rat hearts were studied. Results:The LVSP, ±dp/dt max, AP, and AF decreased as well the LVEDP, CF were increased by the perfusion of GSTT . Compared with normal control , difference is nortabal (P〈0.05,P〈0.01), showed that GSTT could decreased cardiac contractility and expanded coronary in a dose-dependent manner. 2. Effect of GSTT on contractile force within different concentration calcium liquid and lower glucosi liquid on isolated rat hearts. The results indicated that GSTT decreased the positive inotropic effect of higher Ca 2+ by its negative inotropic effect and increased contractility of lower Glucosi cardiac , showed that the negative inotropic of GSTT may be related to its action of blockading the calcium charnel and has protected effect on lower Glucosi cardiac. 3. Effects of GSTT on ischemia-reperfusion injury in rat Langendorff hearts were studied. The results showed that GSTT (100, 150, 200mg /L)decreased the release of AST,CPK,LDH at different time and GSTT had protective effects on ischemia-reperfusion injury myocardium. Respectively, GSTT increased myocardial SOD activity and decrease MDA level. The apoptosis induced by ischemia-reperfusion injury could be inhibited by GSTT. GSTT also increased coronary blood flow and inhibited ischemia, reperfusion arrhythmias.
