Objective:To senile pruritus are common clinical,frequently-occurring disease,the treatment usually accorded to Western medicine Oral antihistamines,topical drugs to hormones,but often lethargy and skin atrophy,telangiectasia and other side effects, Chinese medicine treatment senile pruritus with good effect,the advantage of fewer side effects,this article aims to explore the initial treatment of aged skin ointment coixenolide Pruritus clinical efficacy and mechanism.Methods:60 cases of patients with senile pruritu,using the principles of randomized into treatment group and control group,treatment group coixenolide ointment for external use,Wind-scattered and internal Yangxue;the control group given desloratadine tablets oral,Wind-scattered and internal Yangxue record before and after treatment the degree of itching,and signs of sleep.According to the standard score for score comparison table.Results:1.Pruritus treatment group before treatment was 2.23 points on average,4 weeks after the treatment of itching for an average of 0.93 points;treatment for sleep an average of 2.03 points,4 weeks after the treatment of sleep for an average of 0.70 points.After treatment of itching,insomnia score were significantly lower than before treatment,compared before and after treatment were significantly different.2.The control group before treatment was 2.07 points on average itching,itching treatment 4 weeks after an average of 1.0 points;treatment for sleep an average of 2.07 points,4 weeks after the treatment of sleep an average of 0.90 points.After treatment of itching,insomnia score were significantly lower than before treatment, compared before and after treatment were significantly different.3.After the two groups of patients with the treatment of symptoms and signs have improved,inter-group differences in the meaning of non-EC studyConclusion:coixenolide ointment in the treatment of senile pruritus has good results, can significantly improve the clinical symptoms,and effects are no less than desloratadine tablets.Small sample size of this trial,are the inadequacies of this article,the future expansion of sample size to be seen.
