Purpose: The purpose of this study of primary dyslipidemia syndrome distribution of traditional Chinese medicine is to provide a reference basis for the syndrome differentiation and enhance the clinical diagnosis and treatment of disease.Materials and Methods: The research probes into the law of TCM syndrome differentiation of primary dyslipidemia with forward-looking research on the basis of factor analysis and syndrome factor differentiation system. We select 325 dyslipidemia patients with clinical data and select 25 symptoms and syndromes(including tongue and pulse). We search the public factor in the information and make the public factor syndrome differentiation analysis to make sure the accurate TCM syndrome type which each public factor belongs to and probe into the law of TCM syndrome differentiation of primary dyslipidemia .We do research in the relationship between age, body mass index, experimental indicator(TC TG HDL-L LDL-L)and TCM syndrome type with the application of canonical analysis.Results:1.We find 6 common syndrome types of primary dyslipidemia which are deficiency of the liver and kidney -Yin, stagnation of phlegm, stagnation of phlegm and blood stasis, deficiency of spleen qi, qi stagnation and blood stasis and fire and heat syndrome.2. There is no significant statistical difference in sex,age and accompanying symptoms (P>0.05).3. Canonical analysis indicates that TCM syndrome types of primary dyslipidemia has relationship with age, body mass index, experimental indicators especially close relationship with body mass index and stagnation of phlegm. Conclusion: 1. We find the syndrome differentiation types involves the spleen, the kidney and the liver and the important pathogenese of primary hyperlipemia is stagnation of phlegm and blood stasis and deficiency of spleen qi.2. Canonical analysis suggest that as the primary dyslipidemia patients'IBM increase, phlegm and blood stasis syndromes become more prominent. The TCM syndrome differentiation of the disease have no relationship with age and lipid indicators.
