Parenting plays an extremely important role in the growth period of children. Interpersonal trust is expectation of individuals toward other people's behaviors and commitment in words. Sense of security is the subjective feelings and experiences of individuals on the external risks. This paper aims to research the influence of parenting as the earliest influencing factor on the sense of security and interpersonal trust of children by taking the college students as the testees and adopting the standard scale. The research provides solid evidence for excavation and expansion of related theories in the future and provides reference for the parents to culture their children in a correct way.Conclusions:1. Parenting of the college students has significant difference in the aspects of gender, grades, number of children and regions but not in majors.2. Sense of security of the college students has difference in grades and regions. The score of sense of security of the seniors is the lowest, the scores of sense of security of other grades have differences but fail to reach the significant level, and scores of sense of security of the college students from the urban regions are higher than those from the rural regions and reach the significant level. Sense of security does not significantly differ in the aspects of gender, number of children and majors.3. Interpersonal trust of the college students differs in the aspects of gender, regions, grades, majors and number of children. Interpersonal trust of girls, freshmen, students from rural regions, liberal arts students and only child has higher scores.4. There is significant positive correlation between sense of security and parents' emotional warmth and understanding. There are extremely significant negative correlations between sense of security and parent' severe punishment, parents'excessive intervention, father's partiality, parents' refusal and denial and parents'overprotection. Sense of security can be predicted from parents'excessive intervention and overprotection.5. There is significant positive correlation between interpersonal trust and father's emotional warmth and understanding. There are significant negative correlations between interpersonal trust and father's refusal and denial and overprotection. There is extremely significant negative correlation between interpersonal trust and father's severe punishment. From the regression analysis, used in the regression equation, father's severe punishment can predict the level of interpersonal trust.6. There is significant positive correlation between sense of security and interpersonal trust. The higher sense of security is, the higher interpersonal trust is. From the regression analysis, determination of sense of control can conduce to predicting the level of interpersonal trust.
