Explore The Popular Singing Professional Vocal Teaching Mode

Since the end of the 20th century many universities, in order to adapt the demands of social music life, have set the major--popular songs' singing one after another. This major is real a new one and is based on the foundation of the traditional music teaching. Consequently the educational modes of the new major should be structured as soon as possible to fit the social music life. This article probes into the rules of professional art education and the characteristics of popular songs teaching. Aim at the status of pop music's developments and teaching. Analyze the achievements, experiences and insufficient in professionals' training. Put forward some ideas about construct the technical teaching mode of popular song's singing--we should clear the training target of the major ,construct the course structure with its own features, optimize the teaching content, perfect teaching material,use diversified teaching methods, improve the teaching tools and instructional evaluation, strengthen the contact of artistic practice and social. Finally, expect this thesis will be helpful to the quality of popular songs' singing education...
