This thesis researches on the history of the thought, and aims at revealing existent state of some thought which spread far in the Chinese ancient in the calligraphy of the Ming Dynasty, meanwhile I hope to illustrate the significance, we generalize the thought as "emphasized the important of the seal script in study and practice of calligraphy". The thought has formed in the period of the Song Dynasty and Yuan Dynasty, however, the scale is smaller, these resources not only are inherited but also are developed in the Ming Dynasty .The aesthetic opinion of "emphasized the important of the seal script in study and practice of calligraphy" is accepted popularly day by day by calligraphers, the writings which study the calligraphic works should have the sense of the "old" more wide - ranging and more stronger advocated that the study shoud trace back to the seal script. The thought of "emphasized the important of the seal script in study and practice of calligraphy" permeated various fields including the opinion of the calligraphic history and the theory of the practice and appreciation, it become the important content of the Ming Dynasty .the thesis is divided into the following four chapters:Chapter 1 mainly discusses the connotation and observe the process of development about the thought of "emphasized the important of the seal script in study and practice of calligraphy".Chapter 2 mainly analyzed the background of the existence and development about the thought of "emphasized the important of the seal script in study and practice of calligraphy" in the Ming Dynasty, discussed the influence on the thought directly and indirectly caused by the development of philology and the continuation of epigraphy and the trend of thought which restore ancient ways and the institution of selection as well as the practice and theory of seal script.Chapter 3 overall—aspect comprehensive study on thought of "emphasized the important of...
