The theory of ideal personality being the core of Confucianism, it didn't happen occasionally, was a mingle product of social situation of the day and kinds of thoughts. However, the temporary studies pay more attention to inner emperor of individual temperament training and to outer king of governing groups. Those are two totally different value systems. The former one emphasizes statical moral principles, the latter focuses on dynamical behavior of practical.The two can only be unified together for the ultimate value. The theory of inner emperor and outer king doesn't deals with the relation between individuals and groups, and lacks of real practical personalities and tendencies. the interpretations to the process of Confucius' manhood, in some degree, make up the those gaps, then enable ideal personality to possess practical personality and tendencies.This thesis includes five aspects, the first part is preface. It mainly talks about the life of Confucius and his works The Analects.First, the Personality Studies of Confucian ideal. Mainly on the "Saint and Emperor" theory gains and losses were briefly reviewed. Second, what is "adult. " Interpretation of the historical background and ideological conditions of the "adult" theory. By analyzing the "people and nationality " "Ren and Sheng " the difference between the definition of what is meant by "adult ". Third,the "learning" "thinking "dynamic process of the "adult". Explanations were "learning"and"thinking " itself with the practical, "learning" of the object and Confucius "Study" for pro-active creation. Illustrates the dynamic relationship between the two. Fourth, "adult"and "Manners "and"righteousness " and "benevolence"dynamic process. Pointed out the "Li" "justice " between their meaning and dynamic process. "Li"and"justice"are the result of "benevolence. " Fifth, the "adult " of the "gentlemen"," social "dynamic process.
