| With the development of society, language is constantly evolving. People are continuing to use old words to create new words, but the new word must be in the use of recycling on the basis of grammatical rules, so also there is a regulation to follow, and this rule is the word formation. The word formation research is meaningful, therefore, the scope of this paper will limited in the "Ancient Chinese Dictionary"' from which words with typical features of ancient Chinese "L" "S"two-letter word under the two-syllable are selected for the study of ancient Chinese word formation, the study methods of the current study includes:sampled survey, statistics, and quantitative methods. limited to the ability of the writer, she just hope this research can do some contribution to the study of word-formation.The current research has calculated and described exhaustively of all the two-syllable words in "ancient Chinese Dictionary", with all personal names, place names, country names, dynastic names, works names and proper names under the list of "L" "S" excepted. The number of all the two syllable-words in "Ancient Chinese Dictionary" in the list of "L""S" is 3129 in total, among which two-syllable of phonological words is 246 in total, accounting for 7.86% of all the two-syllable words in the list of "L" "S". Grammatical Formation words is 2883, accounting for 92.14%. Phonological Formation can be divided into non-overlapping speech double syllable words and two-syllable words. Non-overlapping words is 119, and overlapping words is 127. Formation is divided into grammar continued delivery of 86 cells, accounting for "L" "S" letter under the full two-syllable words 2.75%; disposable cell 435, or about "L" "S" letter under the total number of all two-syllable word 13.9%; like Georgia 207, about "L" "S" letters all the two-syllable word under the 6.62% of total; given in the frame 1603, about "L" "S" all two-syllable words 51.23%; 61 grid statement about "L" "S" letter under the two-syllable words 1.95%of the total; United grid 435, or about "L" "S" letter under the full two-syllable words 13.9%; additional 31 grid about "L" "S" letters all under 0.1% of two-syllable words; Attached 5, about "L" "S" two-syllable words all 0.16%; other types of 20, about "L" "S" two-syllable words all 0.64%.From the statistical results, we can see imbalanced phenomenon exists in the quantitiy and development between and in two-syllable words. First, the imbalance in the morphological and grammatical morphology voice; Second, the imbalance between the internal voice Formation. Among them, the overlapping Morphology in the "Ancient Chinese Dictionary" is a very important word formation, and also one of the important characteristics of ancient language. Third, the imbalance between the internal grammar word formation, among which, the given grid is the most important word formation.Language is continuing developing. Through the comparison to double-syllable words in "Modern Chinese Dictionary", we can got that, Dingzhongge and joint grid are still the most important word formation. |
