The Study Of The Double-syllable Words In Fang Zhuang Yan Jing

In this thesis,the Fang Guang Da Zhuang Yan Jing(hereinafter referred to as "Zhuangyanjing")'s,translated by Dipoheluo in the Tang Dynasty,1-6 volumes of the double-syllable words as the object of study.This thesis analyzes and describes the double-syllable words from the source,structure and new words and meanings,uses statistical methods to count the double-syllable words.The thesis explores the development of the double-syllable words and its influence on the later generations,so as to facilitate the study of Chinese history and the compilation of dictionaries.Through the study found:There are two sources of the double-syllable words in the Zhuangyanjing: one is the foreign words translated by transliteration,paraphrase or bilingual,and the other is the concept of Buddhism on the basis of Chinese native words.The main purpose of the translation of Buddhist scriptures is to promote the Dharma,so that people believe that in order to achieve the purpose of Purdue beings,so most of the double-syllable words from the Chinese native words,but to the local words to add a new concept of Buddhism.In addition,foreign words are not completely foreign,a large part of the Chinese word formation and morpheme form a new word,such a new word is easier for people to accept and understand.There are 2049 double-syllable words in the Zhuangyanjing,of which 67 are simple words,accounting for 3.2% of the total number;895 are concatenated compound words,accounting for 43.7% of the total;697 are partial formal compound words,accounting for 34% of the total;192 are verb-type compound words,accounting for 9.4% of the total;45 are subject-predicate compound words,accounting for 2.2% of the total;24 are supplementary compound words,accounting for 1.2% of the total;121 are additional compound words,accounting for 5.9% of the total;8 are overlapping compound words,accounting for 0.4% of the total.According to this point of view,the parallel is the most productive word formation,followed by partial formal.Thirdly,there are additional,verbatim,subjective,supplemental and overlapping.In addition,the two-syllable words of the same order are also present,indicating that the polyphony trend of Chinese vocabulary is still in progress,and there is such a phenomenon that the word order is not stable.There are 284 new words and 61 new meanings.The study of new words and new meanings helps the compilation or revision of the dictionary,such as supplementary terms,supplementary terms,early examples and so on.At the same time,the study of the new words and new meanings reflect the language of the Tang Dynasty,and then compared with the previous generation,the number of wordsincrease,semantics evolve,or expand,or shrink,or transfer.
