Qingzhou is one of the most famous areas of Buddhist activity on North and South Dynasties of China. Remains of many statues, monastery and other Buddhist relics were preserved by the later of Northern Wei to Northern Qi. These stone carvings blend of Chinese and foreign, adopting both north and south, and distinctive regional characteristics. In recent years, the sculpture researching of Northern Dynasties Qingzhou had entered into an advanced stage. The current study focused on the style and source of Buddha and Bodhisattva, for some specific forms of sculpture was initially involved. However, for the unique the Jiyue flying apsaras, the academic community did not give them enough attention, and usual attached them onto the Buddha, Bodhisattva to make a comprehensive study. It will led to the lack of the type of imaging system analysis and comparison study, and the type of musical instrument and the nature of dance accompanied by music were still unclear. In this paper, my study will build on the basis of solving the above problems. As a starting point, the Jiyue flying apsaraswould be compared with the same period images to find differences and clear origins dating for a better understanding about the whole face in QINGZHOU, and then it takes a more independence understanding about Buddhist art and exchange situation on the Southern and Northern Dynasties QINGZHOU.This paper is divided into six parts, and Article 3 and 4 are the focus in this paper.Article 1 Introduction.In this part, it mains that brief review the research method of object, significance, status and so on.Article 2 Overview of stone statues on Northern Dynasties QINGZHOU.In this part, analyze the historical background and distribution of Buddhist Sculptures and the back-screen of Buddhism stone carvings on Northern Dynasties, and discuss its stages and characteristics of the times under the basis. Annals of the clear scale of statues investigated the type of style evolution. At the same time, it divided the image into three stages, then analysis the different stages on different atmosphere and times.Article 3 Analyze of art style about the Jiyue flying apsaras on back-screen stone statues.Firstly, in this paper will make a simple classification analysis to the Jiyue flying apsaras images, analyze the characteristics and style of their dress, and research the variety and form of instrument learn from archaeology of music and Music Iconography. Secondly, summarized the performance practices of the Jiyue flying apsaras. Analyze the stone statues carved techniques and diversity in the Jiyue flying apsaras and the quite rare painting decorative techniques in Buddhist statues. Finally, from the view of aesthetic points talk about aesthetic characteristics of its. Article 4 The art origins of stone statues Qingzhou Northern Dynasties.In this part, it mains that analyze the image features and image style of the Jiyue flying apsaras. The natural areas and rich stone resources is the basis of regional style in QINGZHOU. Monastery in Chengdu was its main source of other statues types, at the same time, affected by individual stone statues and Grotto of the Central Plains in Heinan province. Its rich cultural heritage is one of the main factors to the formation of regional characteristics.Article 5 The statues of QINGZHOU is continue and change from the Jiyue flying apsaras.In the part, by the situation and presence evolution of the Jiyue on Tang and Song Dynasties, determine the continuation and exchange problems of the Jiyue images in stone carvings of the Northern Dynasties.Article 6 epilogue. In this section talks about the reason of the decline of stone statues Qingzhou, finally out draws a simple conclusion of the decline.In this paper, it used the typology research methods to study the changing trajectory systematically of the Jiyue images in stone carvings of the Northern Dynasties,discuss their style of flow sources and combined with local characteristics, historical background and social characteristics of local culture to find a lot of information behind the statues. And through inspected the situation ofJiyue on Tang and Song Dynasties to determine the flow problem of the Jiyue images in stone carvings of the Northern Dynasties.
