As an independent discipline, modern music psychology was founded by European musicians in 17th century. It's a subject which focus on relationship between human behavior and inner mental activity. As early as the Warring States period, the related book,《Rites.Music》, had appeared, but it wasn't a systematic book and mainly took the point ethics. Real research of musical psychology originated in the first 1980's China. In the 21st century, music psychology will become a discipline which closely link with reality, and a emerging discipline which combine psychology, musician and human physiology.Over the years, many good students always can't play good before audience as same as they are alone though they are excellent singer when they are practiced. People always say that why it happen because singer is not skillful and it can be done if they practice more. It neglect one possibility that all these happened because singer's psychological factors. And it won't provide a practical solution even it mentioned psychological factors. The worst fact is that nervous will bring bad influence on singer's physiological, and discomfort will bring more nervous. It will be a vicious circle.The interaction among psychology factors, singing skills, physiological responses, emotional characteristics and personality traits has been researched in this paper. And author try to find out solution of the relationship between vocal music performance and psychological factors. I hope it can help undergraduates and singers, even a teacher, in their daily work.
