From the may of 2007, the government carried out a new free-fee plan for some normal students, it happened at six normal universities. The policy was that the students who were at school for study were free, but went for teaching for the whole life. Its purpose is to improve the structure of teachers in basic education, narrow the teaching division between east region and west region and improve the skills and knowledge of teachers. The policy has been implemented for four years, and the students who were enrolled in 2007 have been a teacher who serves for students. During four years, Chinese psychologists and educationalists put forward the advantage and disadvantage of free-fee plan for some normal students, and some research about Free Normal Student is discussed. As for the special students, our society concerns the Free Normal Student and they concern about their growth and development. They also wonder they have the fortunate feeling on mind and physical body, how about their achievement motivation and self-esteem, when contrast to Not Free Normal Student..Literature study found that achievement motivation is relation of self-esteem and well-being. The researcher makes use of questionnaires about achievement motivation,self-esteem and well-being,for example, The Achievement Motive Scale and SES Scale and Multiple Happiness Questionnaire(MHQ), and investigate the diversity of two kinds teacher education student.This study puts out 598 questionnaires, but 537 questionnaires can be used successfully. And Free Normal Student complete 327 questionnaires, Not Free Normal Student complete 210. The research divides three processes:First, to investigate the level of achievement motivation,self-esteem and well-being and the diversity on demographic variables about Free Normal Student; Second, to investigate the level of achievement motivation,self-esteem and well-being and the diversity on demographic variables about Not Free Normal Student; Contrast to the two kinds of students, and find out the relation among three variables and difference between two kinds of students.Make use of SPSS 16.0 to deal with data, base on descriptive analysis about Free Normal Student and Not Free Normal Student of achievement motivation, self-esteem and well-being, the research deeply analyzes all variables difference significance level and correlation. According to the results and apply multiple-regression analysis, to review two relation in Free Normal Student and Not Free Normal Student.One is that achievement motivation and self-esteem can forecast well-being directly; the other is that self-esteem is mediator and through it, achievement motivation forecast well-being indirectly. Finally, establish a path chart.. The results indicated:1.The self-esteem of Free Normal Student were significant differences between city and town, negative feeling of Free Normal Student were significant differences between boy and girl..2.The achievement motivation of Not Free Normal Student were significant differences between sophomore and a third year student, between boy and girl, and the life satisfaction were significant differences between city and town, between sophomore and junior.3.The two kind Normal Student were significant diversity among seek achievement motivation level, life satisfaction level, health attention and friendship relation.4.Self-esteem level,achievement motivation level and well-being level including all dimensionalities of Free Normal Student are relative.5.Self-esteem level,achievement motivation level and well-being level including all dimensionalities of Not Free Normal Student are relative.6.Self-esteem level,achievement motivation level and well-being level of Free Normal Student are linear relative, and Self-esteem is a mediator between achievement motivation and well-being.7.Self-esteem level,achievement motivation level and well-being level of Not Free Normal Student are linear relative, and Self-esteem is a mediator between achievement motivation and well-being.
