Under the influence of the National Policy of Free Education for Normal Students most normal universities and colleges responded positively and delivered a large number of excellent teachers.However,it shows a series of problems.It is particularly prominent that free normal students lack of learning enthusiasm.It has become an urgent problem to be solved.Free education for normal university students in Shandong province was implemented late.Then how about the learning enthusiasm of free normal students in colleges and universities in Shandong Province today?And how to evaluate the learning enthusiasm of free normal students?What are the factors that affect the learning enthusiasm of free normal students?These are the hot issues of free education,and more researchers should pay close attention to this problem.This study focuses on the learning enthusiasm of the free normal students of geography science majors in local colleges and universities in Shandong Province.On the basis of learning positivity-related theories,the author sorts out relevant documents both at home and abroad,and then defines the learning enthusiasm of the free normal students of geography science majors.Combined with the interview information,it develops preliminary the evaluation index of the enthusiasm of the free geography students in the geosciences.The final questionnaire comes into being with variable items for each factor after an evaluation of the experts.After an Investigation in the colleges and universities which entitled to free geography students in Shandong Province,and also an analysis of study enthusiasm of the free normal students of geography science in Shandong Province and based on feedback results,understanding of the current situation of learning enthusiasm,this paper explores the factors affecting the learning enthusiasm and goes on to make some corresponding countermeasures.With a view to improving the quality of the geography teachers in primary and middle schools in Shandong Province.The conclusions of this study are as follows:First,study enthusiasm refers to a kind of learning initiative and enthusiasm for promoting self-development expressed by the aspects of learning motivation,attitude,interest and will.The evaluation index system of the geography science free normal student's learning enthusiasm includes the following four parts learning motivation,learning interest,learning attitude,and learning will.Among them,learning motivation includes internal motivation and external motivation.Learning attitude includes cognitive level,emotional experience and behavioral tendency.Learning will consists of self-control,consciousness and persistence.Secondly,at present,the enthusiasm of the free normal students of geography science majors in Shandong Province is generally lower.The specific status quo is as follows:In terms of motivation,Inner recognition of learning is relatively high,but the actual action is quite different from the ideological recognition and lack of learning initiative.In terms of learning interest,although most students are not disgusted with geography,they don't have a high enthusiasm on it neither.As the difficulty of professional knowledge increases,the learning interest gradually diminishes.Theirs learning attitude is not correct,because the free normal students have the job security and this subjectively reduces their learning enthusiasm.In terms of learning will,their persistence is good,but theirs self-control and self-consciousness are unsatisfactory.Most of the students are accustomed to the study under supervision and are easily interfered by external temptations and give up when encountering difficulties.Thirdly,based on the results of the questionnaire,The free nonnal students' study enthusiasm is highly influenced by the following factors,the relationship between teachers and students,the teaching mode,the class atmosphere,the importance of parents' attention on learning,and the harmony of family.And others factors also have an high influence for free normal students' study enthusiasm:financial subsidies,incentives,evaluation of school awards,personal physical condition and self-regulation ability.In conclusion,there are six levels which affect these students' study enthusiasm:policy level,school level,teacher level,environmental level,family and individual level.Concerning over the analysis of the current situation of learning enthusiasm of the free normal geography students this paper proposes:First,set up a policy of the mode of"high-scoring first-choice" and strengthen the special introduction of the profession of teachers.Second,the school implements graduation grading,reward and other mechanisms,and strengthens the management of free normal students.Thirdly,Teachers should improve their own literacy,innovate the teaching mode and establish a good teacher-student relationship.Fourthly,students should make an academic planning,establish professional beliefs and improve their self-control ability.
