Republic Of China Ministry Of Foreign Affairs (1912-1916)

The establishment of Tsung-li Ya-men marked the first step of modern diplomatic of China. The Foreign ministry attached great importance to the cultivation of diplomatic talents, creating a period of rapid rise of professional diplomats, who took the country as their duty and safeguarded national interests. They actively participated in diplomatic, presented the whole world with Chinese diplomats'new look, and let others know China's fight for her own interests.Meanwhile, the Foreign Ministry had problems in controling of diplomatic power and foreign policy formulation.
