Research For Campaign To Eliminate The Illiteracy Of Hebei Province In The Early Days Of People’s Republic Of China

There were Huge number of illiterate in the early days of People’s Republic of China, it seriously hampered the economic construction and social development. The Chinese Communist Party learned from the accumulated experience when carry out of literacy education during the war. And then started carried out a large-scale campaign to eliminate the illiteracy. This article use large amounts of data in the archives of Hebei province, in order to study the campaign to eliminate illiteracy in the early days of People’s Republic of China.
