In A Multidimensional View "motherhood" Adaptation Study

Poems, dramas and movies look like different kinds of art, using different media. They all construct an art world on a whole. All is a narrative art that using particular language (writing, activity and picture) to launch a "story" at a certain time and space, and through the mutually reorganizing combine together. This thesis tries to use different theoretical angle to analyse the adaptation way of the stage play, drama and movies for the classic narrative literature work the peacock flies southeast, exploring the aesthetic significance unde the different media conditions and different historical contexts.The thesis is totally divided into three parts. The introduction is mainly systematically combs and analysis the adaptation situation and research status of the peacock flies southeast, on this foundation to explain the textual research meaning and method etc.The text part is divided into three chapters and reorganizes by stage play, drama and movies, Section 1 of front three chapters is analysis the artistic features of the type adaptation on total, and section 2 take individual case as a research object, discussing the adaptation that it success or not. Chapter 1 using the narrative theory gives a new interpretation to various stage play text of the peacock flies southeast from the narrative structure, the narrative perspective and the narrative discourse. The author takes YuanChangYing's adaptation work as an example to analyze its adaptation successful reason and the unique artistic charm.. Chapter 2 carry on reading and analysis to the Chinese traditional drama of the peacock flies southeast from the total art characteristic, satge essential feature, see how it show to the audience from classical text into stage image and how successfully they are accepted by the time and people, becoming the classic work form generation to generation. Chapter 3 tries to through a concrete analysis to the changing aesthetic of the peacock flies southeast based on mass media, to seek an existence method between modern media and art works,and the unique esthetics characteristics and cultural characteristics of the video art in the whole of the popular culture. Chapter 4 summing up the thesis, analyzes the factors which influenced the narrative work to finally model, and put forwards some suggestions to the adaptation art of different medias.
