On The Creation Of Anti - Japanese Base Area Of Shanxi, Hebei, Shandong And Henan Provinces And Its Place In History

During the period of the Chinese great Anti ?Japanese War, the Anti ? Japanese base area in Jin Ji Lu Yu, four provinces, standing erectly at the enemy? s rear area, is the biggest one of the base areas established by the Chinese Commu- nist Party. The Jin Ji Lu Yu base area, southward overlooking the Yellow River, south- eastward crossing Long ?Hai railway, locates between the four railway lines of De ?Shi, Zheng ?Tai. Tong ?Pu and Jin ?Pu. It consists of 4 strategic zones, Tai- Hang,TaiYue,JiNan,Ji Yu and covers 180,000 square kilometers. Moreover,the population of it is over 24,000,000. This article tries to explore the establishment, development and historical status of the Jin Ji Yu base area. The whole article is divided into 3 partse. The first part contains the comparation on military and economy of Sino ?Japan and the strategic decision of the central committee of the party of establish the base areas. The second part is about the establishment and development of the base area of Jin Ji Lu Yu. The third part details the historical status of the Jin Ji Lu Yu base area. The Jin Ji Lu Yu base area is the heart and command center of North China guerrilla war,is the Anti ?Japanese front ?line and main field,plays a im- portant role in anti ?fascist war in China, even in the world and does a great con- tribution to win the all ?round victory of the Anti ?Japanese War.
