| With the related achievement in the domestic research of Engels?ideas of the early stage, the author in this thesis tried his best to unearth the seeds of ideology of historical materialism that were embodied in his ideas of the early stage on the basis of being faithful to Engels in the original. This whole thesis mainly includes: firstly, when analysing the material interest in England, Engels had the bud of thought about economic basis and superstructure, and his early thought about materialism showed us that he had consciously mastered the ?materialism?direction of his own theory; secondly, his early idea of work contained the seed that the masses of the people created the history and showed that he had mastered the direction to the new conception of history while handling the relations of three Marxist courses; thirdly, Engels analysed the capitalist economic relations and had the seed of idea about relations of production and productive forces; forthly, when Engels studied the Industrial Revolution in England, the bud of thought what was the basic force of the development of society came into being; fifthly, Engels produced the bud of idea of the class struggle in the course of researching the condition of the English work class. |
