This thesis illustrates the basic theories of CALL. Through arguing for roles of computer, teacher, teaching materials and learner in CALL, it explores the availability of computer used in English teaching of training schpol. With the usage of Practical English Comprehensive Course multimedia learning software in the intensive reading class, ihe thesis tries to establish a studentcentered, exploratory, co-operative multimedia teaching method. Based on the statistic analysis of the investigation, it 1-as proved that the method is superior to the traditional teacher-centered teachir1g method. |
