The thesis elaborates the topic in five parts:In the first part, the contents focuses on the present reseaxch situation onPainstaking Reciting in poetry making in Tang Dynasty and points out threelosses: simple location; supefficial survey and partial evaluation.In the second pari, the contents gives a new definihon, which includes itsdenotation and cormotation. Firsdy, Painstaking Reciting should be an aesthetictendency; Secondly, I start my research through classifying MengJiao,JiaDao,YaoHe,LiHe and DuXunHe in line with the thcory of creative work.Part Ⅲ discusses the peculiar subects of creation of Painstaking Reciting.The pecularity of the subects underlines the differece in existence and atti-tudes towards the world. Firsily, the state of marginal existence and particularindividuality constitute the difference in existence; Secondly, ignoring the reali-ty and moving towads extreme constitute the peculiar attitudes tonds theworld.In the fourth part, I point out its special aesthetic values, which includesthree parts: writing poems with all of the life; despelling of instruction - orient-ed aesthetic value and deviating from the traditional images.In the fifth part, I re - evaluate the creation of Painstaking Reciting poets.The strong consciousness of life and initiative art pursuit are the greatest valueof their creation.
