| The thesis discusses the change of outlook of the reformers in the movement of 1898 on the western culture, and its influence on the modem society of China. The thesis includes four parts. The first part discusses the extent of how the social politics, economic, thoughts and culture of China at the end of 19 century affects the change of outlook of reformers on the western culture. And it reveals the relation between the influx of western culture and the change. The second reveals the deep change of reformers?outlook in the intellectual structure, value system and ideology. And it introduces the main content of reformers? changed view on the western culture. The third mainly discusses the characteristic of the change. The part points out that the change is rich in the spirits of reformation and opening consciousness, and includes the abundant characteristic of times. The fourth discusses the place of the change of reformers?outlook in the modern history of China. It both affirms the positive effect, and points out its defects. It analyses the cause that the defects come in too. |
