The dissertation chiefly discusses the narrative model of 19491966æ¯ Chinese literature about what to write to and how to write. It believes that there is a huge latent discourse space in 1949-1966æ¯ Chinese literature, which is constrained. Writers had to write novels according to the only narrative model of revolution, which became centralized. Therefore, person and history rejected.Although the revolutionary become centralized, novelists still thought how to write novels that conform require of revolutionary and make their novels alive, they kept epic and romantic mentality. The contradiction between tradition and modernism all along ran through the progress. The dissertation considered that traditional negative factors returned and gradually permeated into the life of revolutionary. A new narrative model came into being. |
