This paper attempts to analyze Zhang Jiulin's poetic art from the perspectives of poetic style and aesthetic ideal, lyric art, structural art, scene-description art, and language art. The first chapter deals with the presentation and causes of Zhang Jiulin's plain and simple artistic style as well as the existence and transcendence of the loneliness in his poems; The second chapter falls into three parts, i.e. the indirect and euphemistic lyric style, the veiled and implicit uBi Xing" lyric style, and the " feeling and setting happily blended" lyric mode. The third chapter deals with Zhang's structural art of poem by analyzing the mountain-and-river poetic structure with the means by Daxie and the sight-seeing and track as the main line, and the royal poetic structure of elegance and well-knittedness. The fourth chapter is composed of three parts, i.e. plenty use of simple, straightforward style of writing; the scene-description mode of showing motion by stillness and mutual promotion of motion and stillness; and the elaboration technique of attending to both point and surface. The last chapter explores the language art of ZhangJiulin's poems from four aspects: the fresh and beautiful language style, the use of alliterative rhythmic reduplication and abstract adjective pronouns, and skillful use of allusions.
