Ming And Qing Dynasties In Northern Shaanxi Agricultural Economic Development And Environmental Changes

Based on the official history* various note collection works and many materials of locals records during Ming and Qing Dynasty, the article analyses the agricultural economy development and the environmental change about the north of Shaanxi.The article consists of 5 sections:Section 1, looking back its brief records for the agricultural economy development, emphasizing on agriculture oriented from Qin-Han Dynasty to Tang-Song Dynasty. This section tells the environmental condition about the north of Shaanxi.Section 2 and 3, on the basis of discussing the reason, scale of population migration and distribution of immigrants in Shaanxi province during the Ming and Qing Dynasty, the article analyses the influences of immigrants upon the population distribution, economic development and natural environment of the new areas. It concerns the water conservancy projects relating to agriculture.Section 4, the article emphatically tells the agriculture development and the economy drop plant of the north of Shaanxi during Ming and Qing Dynasty.Section 5, it objectively makes the statistics and analysis for the direct consequence caused by economy development hi north of Shaanxi during Ming and Qing Dynasty. That is the rapid drop of forest, and the series of problems caused by it, such as reduction of creature, change of hydromy, frequent occurrence of natural disasters.
