The Seventeen Years literature was an important developing stage in the 20th century of Chinese literature, which contained abundant cultural secret codes and cultural genes. During the Seventeen Years, Shandong writers, shifted from the relative quiet state at first half of the 20th century to the collective intense lively state, simultaneously choosing heroic narrative, rapidly coming into being a huge and grand writing trend in a short time, then forming a Shandong writers' group whose novels intended to have common heroic theme, which were found an echo in the whole nation. Either official ideology or regional culture had influenced the Shandong writers' emerging on the horizon. Comparing with the present study situation of the new literature in Shandong, which had been gone in deep, the study of Shandong writers is frailer jet. On the basis of such background, my paper try to seek the cultural source and the cultural connotation of the phenomenon of heroic narrative, taking the Qi Lu culture affecting Shandong writers as an example. And finally supply some enlightenment for the Chinese modern and contemporary literature.The paper has mainly inquired into the implication of cultural art of the Shandong novels, which have heroic theme during the Seventeen Years from three aspects.The first part: the narrative tradition of Shandong novels which had heroic theme during the Seventeen YearsWith the Chinese revolutions often occurred, when a series of spiritual strength contained in the social politics, cultural system and ethical norms etc. had taken place, the Shandong writers' novels which had heroic theme had undergone the modernizations and accomplished modern changes. Writing folk heroic story was one of the narrative traditions of Shandong novels. Influenced by the traditions, the Shandong writers' of novels during the Seventeen Years unconsciously penetrated the flavor of "a good fellow of the rivers and lakes" into their folk heroic figures. Shandong writers had devoted themselves to writing "just" story of the rivers and lakes, which had combined the orthodox cultural spirit and the chivalrous cultural spirit. As a result, official culture and folk culture were naturally mixed together. This way either catered to official words or corresponded to readers' Horizon of Expectations and aesthetic habits. Shandong writers wrote heroes of new society by loyalty and chivalry of Qi Lu culture, which had stemmed from the cultural mental structure of creative subjects. Qi Lu culture is the core ideas of Chinese traditional culture, besides is the cultural basis of official ideology. Shandong writers had formed unique cultural mentalstructure by making regional ideology, they always looked for writing contents which were fit for their representation and embodied the require of new ideology.This was the cultural basis why the Shandong novels, which had heroic theme, could arise. Lastly, those were the differences between such and other cultural regional novels, which had heroic theme during the whole Seventeen Years.The second part: archetype anatomy for hero of Shandong novels which had heroic theme during the Seventeen YearsLoyal and chivalrous ideas in the story of Shui Hu in Shandong writers' novels during the Seventeen Years acquired new succession and on pass. The heroes such as Shao Jianbox Li Zheng etc. in these novels were all typical heroes of the faithful servant type. Their firm and orthodox cultural conviction made them portray a unique type of heroes and heroines in the mainstream literature at that time. Yang Zirongv Lin Chong etc. were typical heroes of good general type. They carried forward the latter's meticulous ^ bold and just heroic spirit. Furthermore it developed and transformed the latter's loyal and chivalrous ideas. QiaoLongbiaOx Luan Chaojia> Lin Zhong> and Lu Han etc. were heroes of the greenwood, who stemmed from heroic archetypes of the good man type.
