The articles about the antonyms in the bones and shells inscriptions are not entire.This thesis takes full advantage of the bones and shells inscriptions, exerts the means of the two-proof method and the lexeme research method, sufficiently collects antonym material and tries to reflect the condition of the antonyms in the bones and shells inscriptions.This thesis discusses the antonyms in the bones and shells inscriptions in detail. In the bones and shells inscriptions, single-syllable words have a large proportion, so do single-syllable antonyms. Single-syllable antonyms have 39 couples, including verb, adjective, noun, orientation, adverb and indication antonyms. Double-syllable antonyms have 17 couples. Antonym phrases have 14 couples and there are two compound antonyms 上下 and 往来.On the base of the antonyms in the bones and shells inscriptions, aftertime's antonyms become developed and abundant.
