The Main Body Of Modernity Issues

In the background of modernity,the paper analyses the cultural condition and philosophical development which promote the theory of communication,aiming at pointing out that the theory of communication is the solution of the crisis of modernity and the restatement of modernity. Among many theories of communication,Marxist theory of communication is the focal point in this paper. By studying the communication in the dimension of history,Marx expounded that praxis is the foundation of communication,which is the product of human productive labor. Marx also emphasized that the ultimate aim of communication is to accomplish human freedom,liberty and all-round development. Our study is not only to systematize Marxist theory of communication but also to obtain its modern enlightenment,so as to properly view the globalization and our national construction of socialist modernization.
