Oil painting is one of the most splendid western arts, which has similar phase, the present paper attempts to investigate two obvious manner, the casual touch and the precise one. And analyze their resource and development, we base our work on the oil painting technology in every period, this paper groups the two style development into fire periods, namely oil painting inventing period, Renaissance periods, Baroque and Classical period, new classical and Romanticism period, Impressionism period, This paper focuses on the character and aesthetics in every period, it helps us reveal the development of the realism oil painting and study the relation between exploring nature and expressing nature, what is more between tradition and creation.
