The syntactic features of the Korean sentence patterns with casual psychological adjectives and their corresponding Chinese sentence patterns are the objects of this thesis. The semantic and syntactic features of the Korean casual psychological adjectives are discussed in this thesis. Furthermore, the features, advantages and disadvantages of their corresponding Chinese sentence patterns are analyzed and evaluated. The corresponding Chinese sentence patterns of the first Korean sentence pattern are Verb-Object sentences, Prepositional Object sentences, pivotal sentences and Clausal-Object Constructions. Comparative analyses are made in terms of the economical principle of linguistics, the correctness of semantics and the limitations of sentence building. Findings show that the Verb-Object sentence is the most economical and defects in correctness and limitations. The other three sentence patterns don’t have problems in correctness and limitations. Besides, they are also less economical. The corresponding Chinese sentence patterns of the second Korean sentence pattern are causal complex sentences and pivotal sentences. Comparative analyses are made in terms of the economical principle of linguistics, the correctness of semantics and the limitations of sentence building. Findings show that causal complex sentence is the appropriate corresponding Chinese sentence pattern.
