This article does a comprehensive research on Feiming's literary works, focusing on his literary viewpoints. In detail, this article analyzes the important influences that Feiming's hometown Huangmei, his teacher Zhou Zuoren, and Chinese and foreign literatures had on the formation of his literary viewpoints, of which the three basic ones are: 1. the cross-cultural and trans-epochal viewpoints on the history of literature; 2. literature is the aesthetic pursuit of the dream and the expression of disposition; 3. the connotation of Zen and the expressional techniques of the Tang Dynasty's Jueju poem. This article further discusses Feiming' s unique opinions and the specific expressions in his texts on issues of the female, the children, the life and the death, under the guidance of such literary viewpoints.The full text includes five parts: the preface, three chapters as the body and the conclusion. In the preface, I will analyze the actuality and problems in Feiming studies, as well as recount the reasons for writing such an article and its main contents. The subtitle for chapter one is "the formation of Feiming' s literary viewpoints" . From the angle of what influences the research work, I will summarize the formation of Feiming' s literary viewpoints and all sorts of factors that played an important role in that formation. In chapter two, "Feiming' s literary viewpoints" , I will discuss the specific contents of Feiming' s literary viewpoints. Chapter three is entitled "the three major themes in Feiming's works: female, children, life and death" . The three aspects are: the boudoir mood and the consciousness of the universal love; the caring for children and the respect for human nature; the sentiments of the life and the apperceptions of the death. These three aspects are very important contents in Feiming's works, which were seldom touched up previously. Being the conclusion, the last part summarizes Feiming's influence and significance.
