The first part introduces the research results of the regional bound and environmental characteristic and Nomadic archeological culture of the northern grassland of China then the author argues that the theory formed in the process of researching in agricultural archeological culture may be not adapted in the research of Nomadic archeological culture, so it must look for a new way in the process of practice.The second part examines the way to investigate into Yuegongtai-Xiheigou relics and its findings then makes its classification, then generalizes the coexistence of terrace built with stone, encircling stone wall , tombs of stone and cliff carving in the relics of the Yuegongtai-Xiheigou relics, which reflects the basic characteristic of a certain Nomadic archeological culture. Finally, the author judges the time of the relics from the bronze excavated from the relic above.The third part introduces the relevant materials of eastern Sinkiang and northwestern Gansu province which share common cultural characteristic with Yuegongtai-Xiheigou relics, then analyzes the general principle of ancient Nomadic archeological culture distribution and studies the function and character of the relics with different grade.The fourth part probes the related documents and then draws primary conclusion that Yuegongtai-Xiheigou relics, as typical relics of Nomadic archeological culture, shares the same characteristic with that of eastern Sinkiang and northwestern Gansu province. The author also thinks that Yuegongtai-Xiheigou relics was left by ancient Rouzhi(Indo-scythes) nationality when they moved to the west firstly according to the historical documentation. Simultaneous this part also makes primary investigation of the place where Wusun troops were stationed when they moved to the west in the first time.This article is based on the former scholar's research and the newest materials attained from the archeological investigation and excavation through 2000 to 2002 year, so it has certain creativity in the field of Nomadic archeological culture study and this article may be furthest approach the historical original appearance on the basis of material available.
