People have human language to communicate and animals have their own language, too. However, we suggest that form is the language of products to communicate with users. Form language has two meanings here: one is for integral outlook and the other is related to small details, such as buttons.With the development of technology and abundance of various products, there is a more and more psychological need in product design. People need to read something from the products but not simply use them. It is fairly common that designers try to convey their intends and thoughts through design. Thus, products are endowed with lives to some extend. Users may know the prime attributes and basic manipulations via the form of products, but not only the thick encyclopedic handbook. Material, color and construction could all be included in the form language of products to bridge designers and users.
