| During the New policies Period in Late - Qing, many social groups came out, in which educational societies played an important role in the course of e-ducational reform, and in the same time either promoting educational development or stimulating the development of constitutional movement.This thesis divided into four parts.Part I : Study the development of educational societies. During the ten years from the Chinese Educational Society in 1902 to the Central Educational Society in 1911 and with the divding lines of two Ministry - promulgated regulations , the development of educational societies could divide into three phases , in which every phase had its developmental feature.Part II : Study the functions and activties of local educational societies in the center of Jingsu Educational Federational Society. As adminstration - assisted units, local educational societies had either the mission of educational research or the colour of semi - authority.Part HI : Stydy thd Central Educational Society in the central of proposals promoted by all representatives and analyzed the struggle and fusion. As a pure authorized unit, the Central Educational Society acted on the ordor of the Imperial Educational Ministry but was full of contradictions among many representatives .Part 1Y: Study the features and the influence to the educationnal development of educational societies in Late - Qing. In the same time, the educational societies promoted costitutional progress. |
