The Preposition Framework "ppau (it)"

This paper focus on the Preposition Frame "P+x+Au"(Lai shuo 来说) (PpAu) , which is combined by different prepositions and pre-auxiliaries. It is composed of three parts apart from the preface and the conclusion.Part One studies the basic syntactic function of PpAu through comparing the internal structural and external syntactic distributions of PpAu and Pp, and gets the result that the internal structure of PpAu is that Au attaches Pp. So, the default of Au is familiar, the default of P is very difficult, while the immerge of x can only be found in "An shuo (按说) ", "Zhao shuo (照说) ", "Lun shuo(论说)" and "Ju shuo(据说)". With the aspect of syntactic distribution, PpAu can only be used as front modifier of sentence, adverbial modifier, parentheses, attribute, and object. Of which, the front modifier of sentence, adverbial modifier and parentheses are more common.Part two discusses the semantic function of PpAu, and find out that the semantic function of x is affected by various factors in a sentence, mainly including the syntactic distribution of PpAu, the semantic function of various P, the semantic abstract degree of x and the grammaticalizational degree of Au. In semantic relationship, x may only relates to VA or some other element in the sentence, it also may relates to both, or has nothing to do with both of them. And whether the Au can be omitted is affected by the grammaticalizational degree of itself and the Preposition in the front it.Part three mainly studies the markedness function and the topic function of PpAu. First, the idea that PpAu can only be seen in disserting speeches is demonstrated, and then the focus function of PpAu in the back of a sentence and the topic function of PpAu in the head of a sentence are studied. Among them, the basic discourse function is to mark the dissertation of the front part and the back part of the sentence. If the topic is just the x of PpAu, Au still get the function of marking the topic from the back side of it. Then it compares the different topic function of PpAu and corresponding Pp.
