Adapt To The Characteristics Of The Ability Of The Psychological Development Of Children The Concept Of Culture Approach To Study | | Posted on:2005-12-09 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | | Country:China | Candidate:Q F Peng | Full Text:PDF | | GTID:2205360122493744 | Subject:Development and educational psychology | | Abstract/Summary: | PDF Full Text Request | | This article introduces how Dweck' s goal orientation theory shaped, briefly analyzes research findings about goal orientation both at home and abroad, points out the development of those findings reflect in two aspects: one concerns the research of the theory itself, the other is about goal orientation' s dynamic regulation function. Compared with her research, we think the soul of Dweck' s theory lies in the intelligence theory, explaining the system that how individuals form the approach of approving or avoiding. However, the cultivation of intelligence theory is what recent researches lack. Through the research of intelligence theory cultivation, Dweck herself points out that individual's intelligence theory can be changed temporarily by interference, thus it's cultivable. According to the related researches of child development, we think interference affects will be different as children's consciousness and cognition level towards intelligence develop. The purpose of this research is to explore cultivation approaches for intelligence theory through the ways of children' s own development, which will help improve to deepen the theory' s research and guide education practice. We take students from grade 3 to 9 as our subjects to do this research. Data analysis finds out that micro changes of intelligence theory are hard to measure, so we take the changes of goal orientation as observation factors for the interference effects of subjects' intelligence theory changes. The experiments include reading interference experiment and praise interference experiment.Additionally, this research studies environmental factors (such as the way parents/teachers say or help, etc). This study indicates that:The study supports Dweck' s research about temporarily changing individuals' intelligence theory and goal orientation. But interference effects vary among grades, which validates our presumption.Praise brings extensive promotions to subjects in grade 3 and 4. In grade 5, the effects of different types of praise begin to differentiate. The effects of two types of reading materials begin to have the trends of difference from grade 5, but they really differentiate since grade 7.Related environment factors bring different influence to subjects' goal orientation changes of various grades. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | cultivation approach for intelligence theory, goal orientation, reading, praise, age character | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
