Southwest Associated Intellectuals Mentality Study

After Anti-Japan War broken, Peking University, Tsinghua University and Nankai University moved from Peking and Tian Jin to Kun Ming. Three universities united to be Southwest Union University. This paper will discuss the psychology changes of organization of intellectual in this university. At the same time, this paper will reveal their imagination to the future of the nation. In this paper, the method of research will be test intensive reading and macroscopic research. The thesis need dailies, letters and recollections to be the basis of argument. The paper will draw the conclusion that the psychology of intellectual must be changed because the war broken. The intellectual were no more to stay in the study room, their practical activity proved their culture ideal.This paper will be devided three chapters.In chapter One, the paper will elaborate the choices of the organization of intellectual when they must move from Peking. This is the beginning of the change.In chapter Two, the paper will take Mr. Shen Congwen, the group of Magazine of ZhanGuo and Mr. Wen Yiduo for example. Three types represented three kinds imagination. This is one of manifestations of their psychology changes.In chapter Three, the paper will compare to three patterns, Yan An, Chong Qing and Kun Ming. This will reveal the difference between the Party and organization of intellectual.
