Study Of Narrative Poems Of The Tang Dynasty

For a long time,the researches on classical poems have been emphasized particularly from the social spect, remarking on works through the poets living background , while ignoring their texts . This essay emphasizes on the analysis in the way of combining West modern narrative theories and Chinese classical theories of poems. Concretely , firstly,it describes the role of narrative poems of Tang Dynasty in the history. And then it analyse the story, the text, the narration on them .Finally, I want to explore the reasons of its boom . The whole essay is divided into five chapters.Chaper 1. The role of narrative poems of Tang Dynasty in the history. It describes the changing process of classical narrative poems. Not only summing up narrative poems of Tang Dynasty in the history, but also making sure its landmark position in the history.Chapter 2. The analysis about the story of narrative poems of Tang Dynasty. Firstly,I want to classify the stories of the poems,based on the function of character. Secondly,I think that the function of character is including the role, active unit and the both , summing up the character traits. Thirdly, I will probes into three basic narritive structions and inventing modes .Chapter 3. The study on the text of narrative poems of Tang Dynasty. The first section aims at uncovering their narrative means through theanaylsis on narrative images of some representative poems,and in the second section,I conclude the role of narrative idioms through distinguishing some situations .In my opinion, the narrative idioms can impove capablities of inheriting,describing,associating,and builde a solid space of narrative culture story. At the same time,I produce a new concept son dian perspective narration,which it is imitated the son dian perspective method in painting field.The concept will help me research the special style of narrative poems,which tell a integrated story through a lot of short poems one after another.Chapter 4.The study on narrtion of narrative poems of Tang Dynasty.On the one hand, I anaylse the omniscient vision and limited vision and generalizing the characteristics of them,one the other hand, I want to explore the narrative rhythem of narrative poems of Tang Dynasty through the order of time and speed of narrtion.In addtionj read the contrast between historic narration and poetic narrion on basis of the strategy of narration ,value and position of dufu 's poetic historyChapter 5.The reason of prosperity of narrative poems of Tang Dynasty. I think that prosperity of narrative poems of Tang Dynasty results from three reasons. The first reason is rich and colorful culture in Tang Dynasty.The second one is the maturation of the styles of classical poems such as yuefu ,ge xing ,which will prepare for narrative poems.and the third one is the narrative consciousness from narrative thinking topratice on composition of narrative poems. They contains exterior and inherent reasons.At present, although many scolars has begun majoring in the classical poems on West modern narrative theories and has acquired some academia fruits in the academic circle.But the reseach on Tang Dynasty has not still go further until west corporating West modern narrative theories with Chinese classical theories of poems. The essay hope sincerely that more and more people will be interested in the research.
