Development Of China's Cultural Industry

Culture Industry (CI for short) is a newly-developing industry even in the whole world, and is also a "sunrise" industry. Based on this basic judgment, I try to take a full-scale view over the development of CI in China. In this paper, I discussed CI of China in many angles, like the definition of CI, the angle to discuss CI, the scale of CI, these problems are mostly have no universal answers. I advanced my own opinion on these problems based on the generalization and analysis of many researchers. At the same time, I analyzed the "value system" of CI by using the method of "value chain" so that I can expend CI in the vertical direction. Based on the conclusion that drew from the former part, I generalized the present situation, the policy, the administration system of China's CI and the problems in China's CI. CI have been fully developed in many countries, I chose four model countries according to the characters of administration system in the traditional and newly-developed country which are strong in CI. I analyzed these countries from the angle of policy to assimilate their helpful experience. In the last part, I advanced the detailed policy to promote the development of China's CI.
