Mary Stuart's Marriage And Its Impact On International Relations At That Time

The marriage of Mary Queen of Scot played an important role in the Europe history of midterm and later period of 16 century. It made Scot, the mini country of Britain Island attached great importance in the international relation.This article can be divided into three parts. In the first chapter, it is said what the Matrimony Diplomacy is, it's features and the international relation in the earlier stage of 16 century. And it was also discussed that how severe the situation was before Mary was born. In the second chapter, the main content is the processes of Mary's matrimonies of her every stage. And in the last chapter, I tried to analyze the influence of Mary Stuart's marriage to the international relation at that time.The conclusion of this thesis is that it was just for the defeat of Mary's Matrimony Diplomacy that the international situation had changed deeply. And Spain, once was the most powerful country of the Europe, was weakened greatly while England, Scot's main opponent, gradually became the most powerful maritime country.
