People's essence is a basic problem in the people study. The philosophers of different periods have different understanding to people's essence .In recent years, with the ever-increasing steps of China's reform and opening-up policy, the studying of essential theory about people is being deepened constantly, has avoided the simplified , melted one-sidedlying of essential understanding to people in the past. This text aims at with a dynamic one, the view of contacting development explores people's essential question. This text think the former philosopher of Marx failed to reveal people' s essence correctly and in an all-round way, only Marx has realized the real change of people's essential view on the basis of analysing and criticizing the theories of forefathers , pointed out that practice is the people's deepest essence . Under the contemporary background ,practise has close connections with a series of questions , such as contemporary people's need , social relationships , freedom ,etc. This prove essential theory of people of Marx still have greatness theory and realistic meaning in guiding socialist modernization drive of our country.The thesis includes three parts:In first part ,there are reviews and analysis of the past and present the essential theory about people of the former philosopher of Marx, have pointed out their common limitation --Practise the shortage of the view. Second part Point out on the basis of pointing out that changes people's natural attribute , social attribute and entity in practice that practice is people's deepest essence . The third part is a focal point of this text, I have expounded the fact emphatically that Marxism people's essential theory is in contemporary value, have explored its meaning in the person's development in an all-round way of freedom under socialist modernization drive and socialist condition .
