Slave Select The Next Muse Spirit

In the history of Chinese modern times and present age literature, Zhang Tianyi is undoubtedly the synthesizer of the basic features of creation of Chinese children's literature. From 1932 he published the first long fairy tale "Da Lin and Xiao Lin", till 1956 he created his last fairy tale "The secret of treasure-calabash", there were distinct contradiction in his creation of children's literature. He consciousnessly standarded his works with political demands. Meanwhile, he unawarelessly overturned the political restriction with the art intelligence of talent. In the 1950s, Zhang Tianyi urgently followed the policy and created children's works as a cultural official of the government and children's educator and tried to change the urgent following choice into a super-ego moral action so that he could fit the children's literature creation demand of unified cultural system and made his works get rebirth in the new social context. But actually, the talent artist couldn't controlled the instinct Muse Spirit and art intelligence which have mixed together with his life by the social political demands and super-ego moral demands during the process of his creation. So there are distinct contradiction conflict evitably in his children's literature works. The "symptom" of the contradiction is that the author unexpected his works which had produced "disadvantagous effects and harmful side effects ".It is the contradiction that is the most distinct feature in his seven children's literature works created in the 1950s and the contradiction made his art intelligence and Muse Spirit get existence and formed a eternal art in the special social context.The first part of this thesis emphatically discuss the social context in the 1950s and the urgent following choice of art of Zhang Tianyi in those days.The second part analyze particularly the contradiction in his children's literature works, meanwhile expound and prove that the contradiction in his works is the appearance of the confliction between his emotions and reasons .The third part mainly discussed the paradox of idand super-ego of Zhang Tianyi. The contradiction in the author's life experience and personality structure is the source of causing the contradiction in the works.
