By the end of 19th century, the United States completed the transition period that changed from free capitalism into monopolistic capitalism. The great changes had taken place on the politics, economics, culture and society. Since domestic economy developed rapidly, the capitalist demanded for obtaining more profit by outputting capital. All that drove the United States government to choose the expansionary road abroad for own development.Just then, the world had been divided up by some other imperialist countries.
