The article attempts to present using comparison method in compare Chinese and Thai measure words. It mainly discusses about the comparing of their classify; word order; combine measure words with numerals, nouns, verbs and indicate pronoun; and measure words evolution.The article shows that every parts of the comparison have either same and different points. Chinese and Thai people have different ways of looking at things, it's the main reason that why the combining of nouns or verbs with measure words in Chinese and Thai are not the same. Chinese noun-numeral-measure word's basical word order is "numeral+measure word+noun", but in Thai is "noun+numeral+measure word"; If you add indicate pronoun or "the" into the phrase, word order are not the same too. But verb-numeral-measure word's basical word order is the same <
