The main roles in their works had been compared and analyzed in this paper: the "madman" in their "The Madman's Diary", the figurde of "landlord" in Gogol's "Dead Souls" and Lu Xun's "Blessing" and "The True Story of Ah Q". The author of this paper also discussed about their creating history in different epochs, the depth of their artistic ideal and their artistic characteristic and gave an objective comment about the close relationship between Lu Xun and Russian literature.
