Words and sentences play a very important role in language learning, also in teaching Chinese as a second language. However, researches about common words and common sentences are not very much. Therefore, we should put it in our agenda that how to full play the role of words and sentences to improve the efficiency of foreign students learning Chinese.Based on current researches of topics, communication schema, commonly used words and sentences,this article count and analyze the common words and common sentences of various topics with abundant conversation corpus. We are aiming to provide a new way of thinking to establish a language library which is directly applied to teach a foreign language.The whole article is divided into seven chapters:The first chapter is the introduction. It introduces the research background, significance,definition,ideas and methods.The second chapter is the theoretical overview of this research. The main contents include the researches of topic, communication schema, common words and common sentences.The third chapter is a Chinese topic- conversation repository. We build the repository on the basis of the topic selection, topic classification and a series of material collection and processing.The fourth chapter is a statistical analysis of communicative schema. We created communication schema of 8 primary topics and 49 secondary topics. The article shows three types of communication schema.The fifth part is a statistical analysis of commonly used words and sentences.Chapter VI of this paper describes the value of this study from the application aspect.Chapter VII reflects the innovations and shortcomings of this article.
