The development and practice of the school-based curriculum is thenew topic with which the domestic basic education field is facing. "TheSecond Curriculum Reform "in Shanghai attached great importance tothe development of the school-based curriculum and regarded it as theimportant content of the new curriculum reform. Therefore, combiningwith the school practicality, many middle schools and primary schoolshave offered the school-based curriculum effectively. The main idea ofthe essay is the research on how to put the main emphasis on the trainingof students'creativity instead of imparting knowledge and skill in theprocess of the school-based curriculum development, which is to say,how to introduce the research learning to the practice of the school-basedcurriculum.Shanghai Zhabei District Experimental Middle School has offeredthe ceramic art as the school-based curriculum since 1996 and achievedgreat success. But on the literature and information in hand, we are inlack of the practical research of introducing the research learning to theskill and art curriculum. To keep abreast with the times, we introducedthe research learning to our school-based curriculum, and are makingefforts to explore the possibility and validity of students'creativitytraining by offering the skill and art curriculum.
