This paper is under the guidance of Constructivism art school-basedcurriculum development and teaching problems. It based on theconstructivism theory and mode, puts forward the constructive learningtheory in paper series curriculum application and implementation.Paper series courses is the compass program components. The aimof compass program is to promote school building traditional cultureexperience room, popularize ancient invention related courses. And it isthe first experiential curriculum that the State Cultural Relics Bureausupports. This paper explains the constructivism learning theory isconsistent with the art school-based curriculum development andschool-based art curriculum requirements. It can promote knowledgegeneration and construction. This paper discusses the application ofconstructivist learning theory point of view. In the paper the authordesigns the teaching case with a constructivist view on curriculumdevelopment and implementation of the advantage. It has achievedgood results. Students learn not only the art knowledge and skills, butalso the superiority of experience of constructivist ideas and teachingmethods. It can provide practice paradigm and the reference for theteachers. It can also provide information for the schools have thecompass courses.
