On Liang Qichao's Thought Of Literature

Liang Qichao, a master of literature and history in academic history, has reached remarkable achievements in many aspects of academic field. The thoughts on literary history of Liang Qichao produce positive influence on later investigator. However, the recent study on the literary history of Liang Qichao is inadequate. Few someone summarized his thoughts of literary history across-the-board. It is necessary to systematically research the thoughts on the literary history of Liang Qichao. The article expounds the thoughts on the literary history of Liang Qichao from three aspects.The first part: the standpoints of the literary history of Liang Qichao. As a researcher of the literary history in the end of 19th century and the beginning of 20th century, times endow Liang Qichao with viewpoints of literary gradual progress of historic evolution. The evolutional viewpoints at the same time pass through his viewpoints of novel history from literature of ancient language to literature of popular language and viewpoints of poesy history in which sensibility is centered.The second part: methods of study on the literary history of Liang Qichao. Comparative methods of study are introduced with emphasis from methods of study on the literary history of Liang Qichao.The third part: the practice of the literary history of Liang Qichao. Liang Qichao was convinced of the dual importance of impersonal material and subjective researcher of the literary history and expressed own characteristics when he was writing the literary history.
