Han dynasty is a very important historical phase; in the development of music in China. It is again paid attention to the research of music history in Han dynasty with the momentous discovery of music archaeology in the Han tomb in LuoZhuang, Shandong province. Methods of research are also gradually changed mainly depended on literature and history record. First-hand materials of archaeology are being paid more and more attention to. Scene of music life in Han society are being directly reflected by lots of stones with music figures of Han dynasty preserved up to now, which are more representative in the south of Shandong province and Xuzhou region though out the country. And the research work of that area has not been done. This article attempts to recognize more the music culture of Han, which is glorious, and enrich the research work of the music history of Han with the research method of music archaeology. The main study objects are stones with music figures of Han dynasty in the south of Shandong province and Xuzhou region, interosculating and comparing with other areas to study the meaning reflected form the throughout the thread of music development in this area.
