| Korea problem is one of hottest problems which get much international attention,and is called tipical "Living fossil of cold war".My thesis will use the inter-relationship of three factors which are international structure and relationship among major power and South-North Korean relationship as starting points,expound my viewpoint around how the. unification policy was influenced by Sino-American detente.Right after World War II ,the U.S. and Soviet Union led the North-East Asian rebuilding process.But cold war made the changing factors which were the big change of U.S.-China relationship started by china's overall civil war and how to unite the split peninsula in North-East Asian structure,begin to interwine with each other,erode the political basis of this process.The Korean people chose to use army as the way to unity.Due to the thinking of cold war .Korean War internationalized,and the confrontation in Korean peninsula between America and China began.The PRC-U.S. relationship quickly worsened.After Korean War ,the United States adjusted the policy to Japan and Korean peninsula.As a result, North-East Asian structure which was based on Yarta Treaty readjustrdUnder the condition of polarized North-East Asian structure,the cold war between China and U.S. started comprehensively,the unification policy in Korean peninsula tended to ossify.By the end of 1960s and the beginning of 1970s,with the changes of international situations,America adjusted its global strategy,from expanding policy to strategic contration.As a result,China and the United States reapproached in 1972 ,China -Japan relationship normalized,the international situation gradually eased up.This adjustment of the cold war structure made the unification environment in Korean peninsula better,and made great changes of Korean unification policy occur.All these can be seen from:(l)pushed both sides in Korean peninsula to quit using army on the way to unity ultimately.and to... |
